Introduction This Recommendation specifies the procedures related to location registration.They include: - location registration; - location cancellation; - periodic registration; and - IMSI attach/detach. The procedures in the MS@ MSC@ VLR and HLR are also given. The procedures utilize the Mobile Application Part (MAP) and details concerning the exchange of information are contained in Recommendation Q.1051.
