NOTE: API Reinforced Thermosetting Resin Casing and Tubing is classified Grade CT-80 wherein the grade is expressed as the pipe minimum long term static strength (hoop stress) in hundreds of psi. Grade CT-80 has a minimum long term static hoop stress of 8@000 psi. Dimensional requirements on threads and thread gages@ stipulations on gaging practice@ gagesppecifications and certification@ as well as instruments and methods for inspection of threads are given in Pa. 6.3 and are applicable to products covered by this specification.
