Application This material has been used typically for parts requiring higher tensile strength than is available in the alpha beta alloys@ and corrosion resistance@ but usage is not limited to such applications. Certain processing procedures and service conditions may cause these products to become subject to stresscorrosion cracking; ARP982 recommends practices to minimize such conditions.
