PURPOSE The checklist is intended to assist the contractor and client in defining their separate responsibilities in the excution of work assignments as the plant or various areas@ systems@ and facilitiesof the plant are being completed. It is also intended to facilitate in recording any transfer of responsibility from the contractor to the client for the care@ custody@ and control of the plant. In order to satisfy the requirements of each contractor-client relationship@ it may be necessary for the parties to make some revisions to the checklist. Negotiations between the contractor and client shall establish the desired division of responsiblity.
