"These requirements cover cabinets@ cutout boxes@ junction boxes excepting the swimming-pool type@ and pull boxes for use in accordance with the National Electrical Code. For the purpose of these requirements@ the following descriptions apply: A. A cabinet is considered to be an enclosure designed either for flush or surface mounting"" and provided with a frame@ matt@ or trim in which a swinging door or doors may be hung. B. A cutout box is considered to be an enclosure designed for surface mounting and having a swinging cover secured directly to and telescoping with the walls of the box proper. C. A junction or pull box is considered to be an enclosure designed either for flush or surface mounting@ having a solid unhinged cover secured directly to the box proper@ and having a volume of more than 100 cubic inches."
