The requirements of Section 7 of this standard apply to mobile rear loading@ side loading@ front loading@ and special collection compaction equipment used to receive@ compacts@ transport@ and unload refuse to mobile frame and hots type equipment used to pick up@ transport@ discharge@ and set of open-top or enclosed containers@ or both@ used for holding refuse; and to t vehicles used to receive and transport refuse unloading into mobile refuse collection equipment. Purpose The purpose of Section 1 through 7 of this standard is to establish safety requirements with respect to the manufacture@ reconstruction@ modification@ maintenance@ and operation of mobile equipment. The purpose of Section 1 through 6 and Section 8 of this standard is to establish safety requirements with respect to the manufacture@ installation@ reconstruction@ modification@ maintenance@ and operation of stationary compactors.
