ESDU 81008 forms part six of an integrated group that deal with the design of linear systems. It considers the factors that@ in particular@ affect the selection of a specific method of system assessment. An explanation is given of how an initial method of system assessment can be chosen@ and subsequently how this choice may change as the system is designed. The advantages and disadvantages of the root and logarithmic/polar frequency response methods are detailed.
