This section of Part 2 of IEC Publication 598 specifies requirements for recessed luminaires for use with tungsten filament@ tubular fluorescent and other discharge lamps on supply voltages not exceeding 1000 V. This section does not cover air-handling luminaires. It is to be read conjunction with those sections of Part I to which reference is made.
