PREFACE Section One of this publication reproduces in tabular form the limits of interference recommended by C.I.S.P.R. for national adoption. The full texts of the relevant C.I.S.P.R. Recommendations are given in C.I.S.P.R. Publication 7@ 7A and 7B. The texts of the recommendations concerning the limits which are given in Table I to VII are grouped according to the category of the source of interference in C.I.S.P.R. Publication 11 to 15. These publications also describe the methods of measurement.* National limits of interference are also listed in the present publication; where these are the same as the C.I.S.P.R. limits@ a statement to that effect is made@ and where they differ@ the actual values are given. The status@ i.e. legal or voluntary@ of the national limits. Notes 1. ?C The absence of an entry from the limit columns indicates that no measurement is made. 2. ?C According to the decision taken at the Plenary Meeting in West Long Branch@ C.I.S.P.R. limits are shown in dB relative to ??@ ??/m or pW. National limits are also shown in dB in order to make comparison with C.I.S.P.R. limits easy. The letter c) over a limit column indicates that reported limits for a country have been converted to dB. 3. ?C National Committees are asked to forward details of any changes in these tables to the C.I.S.P.R. General Secretariat as soon as they occur. 4. ?C Each table is subdivided into a Table A giving the limits at present recommended by the C.I.S.P.R.@ a Table B giving the limits previously recommended by the C.I.S.P.R. and a Table C giving the national limits. For ease of reference@ the C.I.S.P.R. limits are also given on fold-out pages at the end of this publication. Section Two of this publication gives in tabular form for the different countries ** the maximum permissible values for leakage currents and the limiting values of capacitance and energy for radio-interference suppression capacitors. * Specifications and general measurement techniques formerly contained in C.I.S.P.R. Publication 1 to 6 are contained in a recently issued single C.I.S.P.R. Publication 16. ** For ease of reference to the tables@ the countries are listed in both languages according to the English alphabetical order.
