SCOPE OF WORK The creation of one or more databases should be specified in a contract@ consistent with the Participating government's Concept of Operation (e.g. integrated weapon system database). The information contained in a database will vary depending on the nature of the programme and the stage at which the creation is implemented. The attributes of the database should be specified in the statement of work or in a technical annex to the contract and should be confirmed in a user manual. The information contained in a database may be furnished either by contractors or by participating governments (i.e. Government Furnished Information). The format (whether shared or distributed) and contents of the database should be defined in the Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) and Data Item Descriptions (DIDs). The acceptance criteria and quality assurance standards to be applied to the database should be specified in the relevant contract (see AQAP 150 and ISO 2207).
