General (2011) Hull and machinery plans@ as required below@ are to be submitted to ABS for review and approval. Plans from designers and shipbuilders should generally be submitted electronically. However@ hard copies will also be accepted. All plan submissions originating from manufacturers are understood to be made with the cognizance of the shipbuilder. A fee may be charged for the review of plans for which there is no contract of classification.
