This Recommendation defines the common requirements for Internet of things (IoT) applications based on [ITU-T Y.2060]. This Recommendation covers the following from the application point of view: ?C overview of the IoT applications; ?C characteristics of the IoT applications; ?C common requirements for the IoT applications. NOTE ?C This Recommendation mainly focuses on the viewpoint of the IoT applications. The network layer aspect of the IoT is out of scope of this Recommendation.
