This Recommendation specifies the requirements of the plug and play (PnP) capability of the Internet of things (IoT). More specifically@ this Recommendation covers the following: ? concept and purpose of the PnP capability of the IoT ? components of the PnP capability of the IoT ? requirements of the PnP capability of the IoT. Use cases of the PnP capability are provided in Appendix I. This Recommendation can be seen as complementary to the common requirements of IoT identified in [ITU-T Y.4100].
