This Recommendation specifies requirements of next generation network (NGN) evolution for supporting freedata service@ to enable NGN providers to offer NGN end users@ in a flexible and secure way@ the ability to enjoy content or services of third party providers without being charged. In particular@ this Recommendation introduces the motivation and basic scheme for freedata service support in NGN evolution. It then specifies the related requirements and capabilities of NGN evolution. The appendices provide scenarios of freedata service@ as well as details on freedata service data policy for data identification.
