This outline of investigation evaluates the cells@ cell modules@ and battery pack's ability to safely withstand simulated abuse conditions. This outline of investigation evaluates cells@ cell modules@ and battery packs based upon the manufacturer's specified charge and discharge parameters. It does not evaluate the battery pack's interaction with other control systems within the vehicle. This outline of investigation does not evaluate the performance or reliability of these devices.
