This Recommendation describes an architecture for remote medical activity. It specifies a generic ASN.1 protocol that uses ASN.1 information object classes to support a widerange of medical-related formats and reports that can be carried in the protocol. It specifies mechanisms to provide integrity and optionally encryption for the protocol interactions. The protocol defined here is called the ITUEHP protocol (ITU-T E-Health Protocol).
