GENERAL DISCUSSION This chapter covers many miscellaneous items of equipment which do not fall into the categories of other chapters of the guide. However@ inasmuch as some items of equipment discussed in this chapter are comprised of components covered in other chapters and in other API publications@ appropriate references to those chapters and publications will be made. In addition to the information contained herein@ the reader's reference to the equipment manufacturer's operating@ maintenance@ and inspection manuals will yield information peculiar to that manufacturer's equipment@ information which it is not practical to cover in this chapter.
