Form: This specification covers a silver alloy in the form of wire@ rod@ sheet@ strip@ pig@ powder@ shot@ and chips. APPLICATION: Primarily for joining ferrous metals@ particularly austenitic steels and alloys@ where moderate joint strength up to 600 oF (315 oC) for short time service or 400 oF (205 oC) for long time service is required@ and for nonferrous metals except those having of aluminum or magnesium. This alloy is particularly suitable for brazing in hydrogen or inert atmosphere.
