Scope: This document specifies the product acceptance test procedures for checking the leakage of the valve stem (shaft) and valve body joints for valves whose medium will produce volatile polluting gases or dangerous gases. This document is applicable to the fugitive test of industrial valves with fugitive requirements during production and delivery. This document does not apply to product acceptance tests for end connections, vacuum applications, corrosion and radiation applications.
