Scope: This standard specifies the protective performance of medical X-ray therapy machines, the protection of treatment rooms, the protection and quality assurance requirements for radiotherapy. This standard applies to the use of medical X-ray therapy machines (hereinafter referred to as therapy machines) with a nominal X-ray tube voltage of 10 kV~1 MTV. This standard does not apply to X-ray therapy of medical electron accelerators.
