Scope
This part of GB/T 6324 specifies the oxidative combustion-microcoulometry and visual turbidimetry for the determination of chlorine in organic chemical products. The oxidative combustion-microcoulometry method specified in this part is applicable to the determination of chlorine content in liquid organic chemical products. The detection range is 0.5 mg/L~50.0 mg/L. This method is not applicable to samples with sulfur and nitrogen content greater than 0.1% (mass fraction). If there are bromide, iodide and inorganic chloride in the sample, the measurement result will be high. The visual turbidimetric method specified in this part is applicable to the determination of free chloride ion content in liquid and solid organic chemical products. The detection range is 0.000 3%~0.02% (3 mg/kg~200 mg/kg).
