Scope
This standard specifies the type inspection of the traction system, mainly including: a) characteristic test; b) test method for verifying characteristic. This standard does not specify the type inspection of individual separate parts. This standard applies to the traction system, which may consist of traction motors, converters, traction control devices including software, transformers, input filters, braking resistors, main circuit breakers, cooling devices, sensors and contactors. The schematic diagram of the composition of the traction system is shown in Figure 1. This figure does not represent the structure of all traction systems. Note: Energy storage power sources include but are not limited to batteries and supercapacitors. Figure 1 Schematic diagram of the composition of the traction system 1 GB/T25117—2020 This standard does not include collectors, mechanical braking systems and gearboxes. The types of traction motors in this standard refer to asynchronous traction motors, synchronous traction motors including permanent magnet traction motors or DC traction motors. Auxiliary converters integrated in traction converters apply to this standard. When the traction system supplies power to auxiliary systems other than the traction converter, the auxiliary systems can be replaced by equivalent loads. Note 1: This standard does not include confirmation of auxiliary loads. Note 2: The gearbox can be part of the test system, but not part of the traction system. The traction system under test includes at least one complete traction conversion part (including at least one traction converter and its associated load, a traction transformer for AC power supply or an input filter for DC power supply). Compared with the actual traction system of the tested traction system, the replaceable part shall be determined through negotiation between the user and the manufacturer. An example of the relationship between the tested traction system and the complete traction system is shown in Figure 2. Figure 2 Example of the relationship between the tested traction system and the traction system The components of the tested traction system can effectively represent batch products. Deviations are allowed in the case of agreement between the user and the manufacturer, and their impact is evaluated before the test. If the evaluation has no significant impact on the test results, it is allowed to use equivalent components or parts. 2
