- This standard specifies the exhaust smoke limit and measurement methods of non-road mobile diesel machinery and vehicle-mounted diesel equipment. This standard is applicable to the exhaust smoke inspection of in-use non-road mobile diesel machinery and vehicle-mounted diesel engine equipment. The exhaust smoke inspection of newly produced and imported non-road mobile diesel machinery is used as a reference. This standard applies to the following (including but not limited to) non-road mobile diesel machinery equipped with diesel engines working at non-constant speeds: --Construction machinery (including loaders, excavators, bulldozers, road rollers, asphalt pavers, forklifts, Off-highway trucks, etc.); --Agricultural machinery; --Forestry machinery; --Material handling machinery; --Industrial drilling equipment; --Snow plow equipment airport ground handling equipment. This standard applies to the following (including but not limited to) non-road mobile diesel machinery equipped with a diesel engine operating at a constant speed: -- air compressors; -- generator sets; -- fishery machinery -- water pumps.
