Scope

This part of GB/T21296 specifies the terms and definitions, classification and naming, measurement requirements, general technical requirements, production and installation requirements, installation conditions and maintenance general requirements, WIM system Function and data requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and requirements for marking, packaging, transportation and storage, etc. This section applies to legally relevant applications and general applications of WIM weighing instruments. This part is applicable to the WIM weighing apparatus or system installed in the weighing control area and adopting the principle of gravity to obtain the axle load of road vehicles (which can be directly measured or accumulated from the separately measured wheel loads), the axle group load and the mass of the whole vehicle. , regardless of its specific product structure and technical implementation. Dynamic vehicle automatic weighing instruments without weighing control area can refer to this section. This standard does not apply to weighing instruments or measuring systems in which the carrier or measuring device does not move relative to the vehicle in the horizontal direction of travel during measurement. Such as static wheel load gauges, load measuring devices embedded in vehicle components, etc. This section does not apply to weighing instruments or measuring systems that cannot ensure that all tires of the vehicle under test are approximately on the same plane as the upper surface of the carrier (such as products and systems that simply place the carrier on the road surface). This section does not apply to weighing instruments that only measure the wheel load on one side, and then obtain the axle load, axle group load, and vehicle mass by multiplying.
