- This part of GB/T 24474 specifies the requirements and methods for measuring and reporting ride quality during elevator operation. This part does not specify acceptable or unacceptable ride quality indicators. This section applies to passenger elevators and freight elevators. Note: When it comes to the evaluation of elevator ride quality, it is usually necessary to refer to the performance parameters of the elevator. Parameters related to elevator performance include jerk and acceleration. This section defines and uses performance parameters, which are essential for evaluating the ride quality of elevators.
