Scope

This part of GB/T 17989 gives guidance on understanding and applying conventional control charts for statistical process control. This section applies only to the use of conventional control charts for statistical process control situations, all the supplementary content involved are related to conventional control charts, such as: the use of warning lines, trend patterns and process capability analysis. Other types of control chart methods can be found in GB/T 17989.1.
