Scope

This part of GB/T19725 specifies the safety requirements for the design, structure and use of portable side-mounted power brush cutters and lawn mowers (hereinafter referred to as complete machines) that use internal combustion engines as power sources and transmit mechanical power to cutting accessories. its test method. This section proposes ways to eliminate or reduce various hazards generated during the use of brush cutters and lawn mowers, and specifies the requirements for information on safe operation provided by the manufacturer. This section covers all serious hazards, dangerous situations and serious hazards related to the complete machine during normal use and reasonable, manufacturer-foreseeable misuse of the complete machine. Note: See Appendix C for a list of serious hazards. This section does not apply to machines equipped with non-integral metal cutting accessories, such as sling chains or slinging knife blades. This section applies to portable side-mounted power brush cutters and lawn mowers produced after its implementation.
