This standard specifies the terms and definitions for the limit value and grade of rolling resistance of automobile tires. The limit value and grade requirements and tests of rolling resistance coefficient are applicable to new car radial tires, new miniature and light truck radial tires and new load bearing Car radial tires. But it does not include: tires with a nominal diameter of the axle not greater than 10 inches and a nominal diameter of the wheel not less than 25 inches; I-type spare tires for temporary use only; special ST metric tires for road trailers; high-traffic radial tires for light-duty trucks ; Truck tires with a speed capability of 80 km/ph (not included); racing tires, studded tires and special off-road tires.
