- This part of GB/T38696 stipulates the risk assessment and control measures of light radiation damage for strong light source (non-laser) protective glasses, the selection of protective glasses, wearing comfort and secondary safety, etc. This part is applicable to eye protectors that protect against strong light sources with radiation wavelengths between 250nm and 3000nm. This part provides guidelines for the selection of strong light source (non-laser) protective glasses, and provides a set of stricter protection procedures to prevent the eyes from being hurt by the spectral output of strong light source (non-laser) equipment, which can be used for strong light source (non-laser) Laser) protective glasses users, manufacturers, suppliers and safety consulting agencies. This section does not apply to welding goggles, laser goggles, sunglasses, ophthalmic instruments, solar or other components assembled on medical and cosmetic equipment.
