Scope

This standard puts forward the general requirements for self-monitoring of pollutant discharge units, the basic content and requirements for the formulation of monitoring plans, monitoring quality assurance and quality control, and information recording and reporting. Pollutant discharge units may refer to this standard to monitor the water and gas pollutants and noise they discharge during the production and operation stage, as well as the impact on the quality of the surrounding environment. This standard applies to pollutant discharge units that do not have technical guidelines for industry self-monitoring; content not specified in the technical guidelines for industry self-monitoring shall be governed by this standard.
