GB/T 38818-2020 (English Version)

Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking, ordering content, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, acceptance methods, packaging, marking and quality certificates, safe use and maintenance of steel wire ropes for suspension bridge slings, etc. This standard applies to steel wire ropes for suspension bridges with diameters ranging from 40mm to 120mm and rope grades not exceeding grade 2160.
