Scope: This document specifies the principle, test equipment, samples, test procedures, test results and test reports of the metal material wire winding test method. This document is applicable to the determination of the ability of metal wires with a diameter or characteristic size of 0.1 mm to 10 mm to withstand plastic deformation during the winding test, and is also applicable to the determination of the adhesion performance of the coating on the surface of coated metal wires. After negotiation between relevant parties, the winding test of metal wires of other specifications can also be carried out with reference to this document.
