Scope: This standard specifies the applicable scope, test method, testing machine, test procedure, test result judgment and test report of the metal wire winding test method. This standard is applicable to the inspection of coated and uncoated metal wires with a diameter (or size) equal to or less than 10.0mm, the surface defects displayed after being wound and deformed, and the bonding firmness of the surface coating. If there are other provisions in the relevant standards, they shall be implemented in accordance with the provisions. Note: The size specified in this standard refers to the nominal size of special-shaped wire. Example: square steel wire: side length of square steel wire; rectangular steel wire: short side of rectangular steel wire cross section; trapezoidal steel wire: nominal height of trapezoidal steel wire; hexagonal steel wire: distance across sides of hexagonal steel wire; Z-shaped steel wire: the distance across the Z-shaped steel wire.
