Scope

This standard specifies the emission limits of exhaust pollutants, real driving emissions (RDE) exhaust pollutants, crankcase pollutants, evaporation pollutants, and refueling process pollutants at room temperature and low temperature for light vehicles equipped with ignition engines. and measurement methods, durability of pollution control devices, technical requirements and measurement methods of on-board diagnostic (OBD) systems. This standard specifies the emission limits and measurement methods of exhaust pollutants, real driving emissions (RDE) exhaust pollutants and crankcase pollutants at room temperature and low temperature for light vehicles equipped with compression ignition engines, and the durability of pollution control devices. performance, technical requirements and measurement methods of on-board diagnostic (OBD) systems. This standard specifies the requirements and confirmation of light-duty steam type inspection, inspection and judgment methods of production consistency and in-use compliance. This standard applies to light-duty vehicles (including hybrid electric vehicles) powered by ignition engines or compression ignition engines with a maximum design speed greater than or equal to 50km/h. Under the requirements of the manufacturer, the type inspection of M1, M2, N1 and N2 vehicles with a maximum design total mass exceeding 3500kgR can be carried out according to this standard. This standard does not apply to vehicles that have passed the sixth stage type inspection according to the provisions of GB 17691. Vehicles using fuel types not included in Appendix K can refer to the relevant provisions of this standard.
