This standard specifies the procedures for toxicological evaluation of food safety. This standard applies to the evaluation of chemical and biological substances used in food production, processing, preservation, transportation and sales, as well as harmful substances produced and polluted in these processes, new food resources and their components, and new resource foods. It also applies to other harmful substances in food.
