Scope

This part of GB/T 33588 specifies the requirements and test methods for metal, non-metal and composite material fasteners used to fasten and support conductors such as air receptors, down conductors and grounding systems. This standard does not deal with fasteners applied to conductors of buildings whose roofs and walls are in the form of fabric inflatable membranes. This type of building is used in a large number and types in modern architecture. Lightning protection system components (LPSC) are also suitable for use in hazardous environments, and the components installed in this condition need to consider the necessary additional requirements.
