Scope

This standard specifies the classification and grading methods, coding rules and code structure, classification and codes, grading and quality requirements, test methods and inspection rules for waste and used fake fabrics. This standard applies to the collection, sorting, processing and reuse of waste textiles. This standard does not apply to waste textiles of hazardous waste including medical waste.
