- This standard specifies the terminology of industrially produced chemical fibers and their fabrics, as well as tests and defects. Refer to GB3291-82 "Textile Terminology (General Parts of Textile Materials and Textile Products)" for terms that are common to cotton, hemp, silk, wool, etc.
