Scope
This International Standard specifies general principles and techniques for the characterization and quantification of detected discontinuities to ensure that the discontinuities are assessed according to the applicable acceptance criteria. This standard applies to the characterization and quantification of discontinuities in materials specified in GB/T 39240.
