Scope: The basic concepts and principles of quality management expressed in this standard are generally applicable to: - Organizations that seek sustainable success through the implementation of quality management systems; - Customers who seek trust in the organization's ability to provide products and services that meet their requirements in a stable manner; - Organizations that seek trust that their product and service requirements can be met in the supply chain; -- Organizations that seek to facilitate mutual communication and related parties through a common understanding of the terms used in quality management; -- According to GB/T 19001 Organizations requiring conformity assessment; - providers of training, evaluation and consultation on quality management; - drafters of relevant standards. The terms and definitions given in this standard apply to all quality management and quality management system standards drafted by SAC/TC 151.
