Scope: This standard describes the basis of the quality management system that constitutes the main content of the GB/T 19000 family of standards, and defines related terms. This International Standard is applicable to: a) organizations seeking advantage through the implementation of a quality management system; b) organizations seeking confidence in the ability of suppliers to meet their product requirements; c) users of products; d) need for terminology used with respect to quality management People and organizations that reach consensus (such as suppliers, customers, regulatory agencies); e) internal or external personnel and organizations that evaluate the organization's quality management system or audit its conformity to the requirements of GB/T 19001 (such as auditors , regulatory bodies, certification bodies); f) internal or external persons and bodies who advise or provide training on the organization's quality management system; g) persons who develop relevant standards.
