Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods and signs of combustible gas detectors (hereinafter referred to as detectors). This standard is applicable to combustible gas (steam) detectors used in places where combustible gas is dangerous. For detectors with special requirements, this standard should also be implemented, except that special requirements should be specified in relevant standards.
