Scope

This part specifies the definition, classification, technical requirements, test methods, signs, inspection rules and instructions for portable combustible gas detectors for measuring artificial gas environments. This part applies to portable combustible gas detectors (hereinafter referred to as detectors) used in general industrial and civil places to measure artificial gas. For detectors with special performance used in other environments, except for special requirements that shall be stipulated separately by relevant standards, This section shall also be implemented.
