Scope

This standard specifies the image quality evaluation method for xerographic copies. This standard applies to the evaluation of the image quality of plain paper black and white electrostatic copiers duplicating documents and engineering drawings, as well as the image quality evaluation of corresponding consumable materials (such as: photoconductor drum, developer, etc.). The evaluation of image quality reproduced by other copying machines can be used as a reference.
