Scope
This standard applies to the electromagnetic immunity of household and similar electrical appliances, similar appliances, electric toys and electric tools. The rated voltage shall not exceed 250 V for single-phase appliances connected to phase and neutral, and 480 V for other appliances. The appliance may contain an electric motor or a heating element or both, its circuitry may contain electrical or electronic circuits, and it may be powered by mains electricity, batteries or other sources of power. This standard also applies to non-domestic appliances that require immunity, such as appliances used by non-professionals in shops, light industrial sites and farms, and also applies to appliances to which GB 4343 applies. In addition, it applies to: - microwave ovens for domestic use and in bars and restaurants; - flat hobs and ovens for cooking heated by radiofrequency energy, (single or multi-zone) induction cooking appliances; - ultraviolet and Infrared Radiation Meter. This standard does not apply to: ——lighting equipment; ——heavy industrial appliances; ——electrical device components fixedly installed on buildings (such as fuses, circuit breakers, cables and switches); ——places where special electromagnetic environments are frequently generated Appliances used, such places are places where strong electromagnetic fields are generated (such as near broadcasting transmission stations) or where large pulses are generated by the electrical network (such as power stations); - radio receivers, television sets, audio equipment, video equipment and electronic music devices; - medical electrical devices; - personal computers and similar appliances; - radio transmitters; - appliances specially designed for use in vehicles. The applicable frequency range of this standard is 0Hz~400GHz. Electromagnetic effects related to appliance safety do not belong to the scope of this standard, but belong to other standards, such as GB 4706. Abnormal operation of the appliance (eg operation to simulate a circuit failure for test purposes) is not considered in this standard. Note: Additional immunity requirements may be required for appliances used on board ships or aircraft. The purpose of this standard is to specify the immunity requirements of appliances within the scope of this standard, which include continuous and transient, conducted and radiated electromagnetic disturbances and electrostatic discharges. These regulations reflect the basic requirements for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) immunity. Note: In special cases, the disturbance level may exceed the test value specified in this standard. In this case, special mitigation measures may be required
