Scope: This standard specifies the principles and methods for measuring the radioactive activity of solid materials produced during the operation and decommissioning of nuclear facilities and intended to be recycled, reused or disposed of as non-radioactive waste. This standard is applicable to the measurement of the radioactive activity of the solid materials produced by the operation and decommissioning of nuclear facilities, which are intended to be recycled, reused or disposed of as non-radioactive waste, so as to determine whether these materials meet the released standards for cleanliness and control. For other sources, the measurement of radioactive activity of solid materials intended to be recycled, reused or disposed of as non-radioactive waste can refer to this standard. This standard does not apply to general radioactive waste.
