Scope: This standard specifies the principles and methods for measuring the radioactive activity of solid materials produced during the operation and decommissioning of nuclear facilities and intended to be recycled, reused or disposed of as non-radioactive waste. This standard is applicable to the measurement of the radioactive activity of solid substances produced during the operation and decommissioning of nuclear facilities, intended to be recycled, reused, or disposed of for non-radioactive disposal, so as to determine whether these substances meet the released cleanliness and control standards. For other sources, the measurement of incident activity of solid materials intended to be recycled, reused or disposed of as non-radioactive waste can refer to this standard. This standard does not apply to general radioactive waste.
