Scope: This standard stipulates the definition, product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation and storage of Shaoxing wine. This standard is applicable to the Shaoxing wine listed in the "Catalogue for the Protection of Regional Origin Products" issued by the quality and technical supervision administrative department of the State Council within the Jianhu water system of Shaoxing, also known as Shaoxing rice wine or Shaoxing old wine (hereinafter collectively referred to as Shaoxing wine).
