- This standard specifies the measurement method for broadband video recorders (PAL/NTSC), including broadband video recorders (PAL/NTSC) with Y/C video connectors. This standard applies to two video recorders using composite video input/output connectors and Y/C component video (hereinafter referred to as S-terminal video) connectors. This standard applies to the inspection and measurement of the characteristics of broadband video recorders for recording and reproducing video and audio signals. The purpose of this standard is to describe methods of measurement for non-broadcast video tape recorders.
