Subject content This standard specifies the method of inspecting deformed aluminum alloy products by ultrasonic pulse reflection technology. The content includes requirements for inspectors and inspection devices, inspection steps and quality levels for inspection, inspection records and reports, etc. 2 Scope of application This standard applies to the ultrasonic inspection of the following deformed aluminum alloy products such as plates, profiles, forgings, bars and parts made of them. Not suitable for castings, weldments and sandwich structures. Plate—a rolled plate with a thickness equal to or greater than 10mm that has been sawn or trimmed and has a rectangular cross-section. Profiles—other than thin plates, thick plates, special-shaped laws, pipes and wires, the cross-sectional area is greater than or equal to 70mm2; the thickness is greater than or equal to 10mm, and the length is much larger than the cross-sectional line size. Forgings—a general term for die forgings, free forgings and forging rings. Its thickness is greater than or equal to 1Omm, and the maximum thickness is less than 300mm. Rods—round, square, and hexagonal woolen rods or finished finished rods after extrusion, the diameter of the inscribed circle being greater than or equal to 25.0mm is collectively referred to.
